WHAT OUR PARENTS SAY…
‘Eagles is a community basketball club run by volunteers. It’s fun and relaxed and it provides kids with self-confidence, skills, and better fitness.
‘Eagles Basketball Club has a great team spirit, no matter what age or ability. I couldn’t recommend it more to parents looking for a new team sport for their kids to play.’
Our Vision
We have one clear vision.
To provide sports and healthy activities without barriers to entry.
Yes, we want to remove the barriers to kids and adults taking part in sports. This may be a financial barrier, a confidence barrier, or an acceptance barrier. Whatever it is, we want to get more people, young and adults, involved in fun local sporting and health activities.
Tunbridge Wells Eagles is a local sports club that has basketball available for all children aged U16. We hope to expand into more sports in the future.
For each club, there is no joining or annual membership fee; it is completely free. All members will need to register or register their kids, and all the kit, venue hire, and venues will be provided, but we may have a few parent fundraisers along the way!
We place high importance on player and volunteer welfare and have a strong code of ethics, and all club policies are available here. Please do join us if you are keen to take part
Safeguarding Statement
Our organisation acknowledges the duty of care to safeguard, protect and promote the welfare of children and is committed to ensuring safeguarding practice reflects statutory responsibilities, government guidance, and complies with best practices. Our coaches have all completed the NSPCC e-learning module on Safeguarding - Child Protection in Sport and Physical Activity as recommended by British Basketball.
